A Maternal Health Fund Pillar is one of the people who holds up the important and lifesaving work we do with substantial donations.
A Pillar of MHF is any donor or group of donors whose donations, including corporate matches, equal $1,000 or
more on an annual basis. When you become a Pillar, you join our special community of donors who are dedicated
to supporting women and families.
It is an exciting time to become a MHF Pillar. With our generous Pillars’ support, we finished two large and far
reaching projects:
The construction of Terrewode Women’s Community Hospital (TWCH), an innovative hospital in Uganda where
highly trained staff repair women’s fistulas, helps them prepare to rejoin their families and communities, and trains
physicians how to perform this lifesaving surgery. We are now supporting plans for a women’s prevention and
maternity clinic at TWCH to support healthy births, and put an end to fistulas and infant mortality.
We also supported of development of Maternal Neonatal & Child Health Center – Specialty Center in Ethiopia,
where education, excellent prenatal care and postdelivery care is available using ultrasound, education, birth plans
and neonatal care. Your gift allows us to continue to expand our reach and help more women. Click below to
